New: Coeus, our open Video Jev model. It watches and listens to a video and answers questions about it, with a probability you can trust. Meet Coeus.

A film crew that
learns your brand

Theia writes, casts and shoots short films for founder-led brands. She watches every take back before you do, and each posted result changes the next script. You approve every one.

Every post and its numbers are on the log

Watch Theia write for you

She does the whole job a small film crew would do, and she writes down why she made each call.

Brand read

She knows your world.

Your people, your rooms and your voice, held on file and reused.

Screenplay

She writes to a format.

One scene, one place, about eighteen spoken words, and a turn.

Watch-back

She checks her own work.

A face that drifts or a line that cuts short gets reshot.

Results

She keeps what worked.

Each posted film is evidence, and it shapes the next script.

Every film goes through the same crew

From the first read of your brand to the numbers after it posts. Drag through a week in the studio.

The brand read

She reads your site, your product and your places, and pins down how they look before anything is written.

Everything a film crew does

Without the crew. Each job below runs on every film, and each one leaves a record you can read.

The crew

Start with one month

$1,500 for the first month. One month, no commitment. At the end of it we look at what the films returned and decide together whether there is a second one.

Solo

One founder, one account

One brand. We run the loop, you approve every film.

  • One brand, one channel
  • Brand read: cast, sets, voice, register
  • A steady run of short films, judged before you see them
  • Every posted piece measured and written back
  • Direct line to us

Studio

Founder-led brand with something to prove

One brand, more of it. Formats, testing, and a point of view.

  • Everything in Solo
  • More than one format, chosen per piece
  • Deliberate tests - one variable at a time, read against the numbers
  • A written claim ledger: what is true for your audience, and what we retired
  • Monthly read-out on what changed and why

Growth

Multiple brands, or a channel that carries revenue

Several brands, or one where the channel is the business.

  • Everything in Studio
  • Multiple brands or accounts
  • Strategy owned with you, not handed over
  • Custom formats built for your category
  • Priority in the render queue

Why Retina

A studio that
shows its working

Retina builds Theia. Every decision she makes is logged, every film she ships is measured, and every miss is published with the reason attached. We think creative work gets better when it has to explain itself, so our own account runs on the same loop we sell.

Research

Meet Coeus

Theia makes the films. Coeus, our open Video Jev model, watches and listens to them. Ask it typed questions about a clip, like how good it looks, whether it is AI-generated, or which second is funniest, and it returns a calibrated probability for every answer.

The loop

Four stages, one loop. Every film earns the next.

Theia reads, makes, judges and learns in one continuous cycle, so the account gets a point of view that belongs to you.

See it on the log

Stage one

Read

Theia starts with your world, not a template. She reads your site and product, then builds the pieces a film needs: who your cast are, what your places look like and how you sound. All of it is kept for the next film.

  • Cast and sets held on file, not re-imagined
  • Your voice written down before a script exists

Stage two

Make

She writes against a format that works, casts it from your file, sets the camera and renders it. The script arrives with its hook and the reasoning behind it, so you can argue with the choice.

  • One scene, one location, about eighteen words
  • A turn at the end, every time

Stage three

Judge

Every render is watched back twice, and the checks are kept apart. A fault, such as a face that drifts or a line that cuts short, means a rebuild. Then the film is judged against your audience.

  • Faults are rebuilt, never averaged away
  • You approve every film before it posts

Stage four

Learn

Posted films come back as numbers, and the numbers settle arguments. Claims about your audience that hold are kept. Claims that lose are retired in writing, with the post that disproved them.

  • A written claim ledger per account
  • What flopped stops being repeated

Questions people actually ask

FAQ

Short films, ready to post. Each one is a written script, cast and shot against a format we know works — typically one scene, one location, around eighteen spoken words, and a turn at the end. You get the finished piece, captioned, with the hook and the reasoning behind it. You review it and post it.
$1,500 for the first month, and nothing to sign. That is a real month of work, not a trial or a cut-down version — the same loop we would run at any scope. At the end of it we sit down with what the films actually returned and decide together whether there is a second month, and what shape it takes. Nothing auto-renews. If the first month did not earn the second, that is a clean answer and we would rather have it early.
We run it. Theia is the machine, but the engagement is with us — we take on a small number of brands and run the whole loop, from reading your brand to writing back what the numbers said. There is no self-serve sign-up today. If that changes, the people already working with us will hear first.
No. You approve every film before it goes anywhere near your account. Once we can read your analytics back, the results feed the next piece — but the publish action stays with you.
Two separate checks, deliberately kept apart. The first asks whether the film is broken — a face that changed, a line that got cut short, a shot that does not hold. Those are faults and they get rebuilt, never averaged away. The second asks whether it is any good against what we have learned about your audience specifically. Only pieces that clear both reach you.
Your account keeps a written ledger of claims — things we believe are true about what your audience responds to. Every posted film is evidence for or against one of them. Claims that hold are used to judge the next script. Claims that get contradicted are retired, in writing, with the post that killed them attached. After a few months the ledger is specific to you, and it is the most valuable thing in the account.
Short-form vertical video — TikTok and Instagram Reels. That is where the format we build against lives and where we have proof. If a different channel matters more to you, say so on the call; it changes what we prioritise.
Theia runs live on public accounts, and we publish what happens on our log - including the run of posts that got 0.18% engagement and what we changed because of it. If you want to see the failures before the wins, they are all there.
